ORC - Week 5

Welcome to week 5 of 2024's Fall One Room Challenge. At some point in every project, it comes time to fine tune. You may be asking what is fine tuning? Hiding unsightly cords or highlighting areas with additional lighting. These were a couple of fine-tuning needs, but each project can require something different.

I ordered paintable cord covers because dangling cords are not pleasing to the eye. In design the details matter.

The best things about the cord covers are they stick well to the wall & are paintable.

The Next Best Thing

I also ordered a flat extension cord cover. This handy item allows a piece of furniture to set more flush against the wall & not protrude out because of a bulky plug head. A perfect addition to tuck my lounge chair in a corner.

Lastly are the most wonderful off & on remote control plugs. These are a game changer when you want to cut a light on or off with ease. The plug-in wall sconces were perfect for this application.
