She graduated in 2005 with her degree in interior design. Chantèe has always had a love for designing, painting and sewing since the age of 5. Out of that passion grew what we now know as Southern Girl Interiors.
Drawing on inspiration from travel, fashion and art, Chantèe has developed a keen eye to perfect her design aesthetic: well-balanced polished environments that embrace the lifestyles of her clients.
The Southern Girl's approach to design, is first and foremost, comfort, created through mixing classic and contemporary motifs in unexpected ways. Chantèe is not afraid to mix custom design pieces with more iconic pieces from various retailers. Unlike many designers who send their custom work to outside sources, Chantèe is able to oversee and craft each piece to her client's satisfaction because she is a seamstress as well.
